Guest Speaker – Regginald Jordan, FACHE

For the last six years, Mr. Jordan was the Vice President of Mount Sinai St. Luke’s/West, a two 450-bed community hospitals, with over 6,100 employees managing over $800M in revenue. He is responsible for the Support Service Operations of the (2) hospital campuses including: Neurology, Radiology, Laboratory, Rehabilitation, Respiratory Therapy, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Construction, Clinical Engineering, Food & Nutrition, Environmental Services, Materials Management, Transportation, Security, Environmental, Health and Safety Departments. He is strategically oriented with a proven track record of operational performance in a highly complex multihospital system. He has an innate ability to successfully lead multi-functional teams to complete projects and accomplish goals of organization. He is a dedicated, flexible leader with a strong work ethic that motivates others and garners rapport and support from all personnel.

He recently accepted a position as the new CEO/COO of Montefiore Medical Center’s Wakefield Campus, a 300-bed teaching hospital with over 2500 employees serving the northeast Bronx and lower Westchester area.

Panel Discussion: Diversity & Inclusion in the Workforce

Dr. Kenya Beard, Associate Vice President for Curriculum & Instruction and Director of the Center for Multicultural Education & Health Disparities at Jersey College, will moderate a discussion focused on diversity and inclusion in the workforce, which will include insight from panelists, Pamela Abner, Chief Administrative Officer of the Office for Diversity and Inclusion for Mount Sinai Health System, and Kevin Antoine, Chief Diversity Officer and Assistant Vice President for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at SUNY DownstateThis will be a timely discussion, given compliance mandates for non-discrimination provisions by several regulatory bodies. NAHSE's 30th Annual Educational Conference

From October 13 - 16, 2015, NAHSE will hold its 30th Annual Educational Conference, Business Meeting and Exhibition at the Marriott –New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. The 2015 Conference theme is Creating the Blueprint for Sustainable Change: Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in Healthcare Management.

The conference is always a unique experience for all who attend and is designed to advance the field of healthcare administration as well as the careers of individuals from graduate students to senior level/ C-suite executives.
