Angela Adjetey-Appiah, MSN, MPH, MA, RN, COA, FAACM

What impact are you looking to have on the healthcare community and how do you plan to make this impact? 

I hope to contribute to impacting population health, disease prevention, decreasing health disparities and increase health promotion in our communities.  I would also like to contribute to translating research and evidence into practice.

I plan to make this impact by leading community education, performing research, and engaging interdisciplinary teams in the implementation of the science to improve communities.

What made you decide to become a NAHSE member?  

The diverse professional backgrounds and the collegiality of the organization played part in my decision to be come a member.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy comedy as a fun activity. It’s my way of centering myself. Spending time with my family is also one of the things I do for fun.
